Rebel Powerpipes was set up in 1997 by yours truly, Deepak Arya... a huge car enthusiast
with an obsession for modifying and of course, a need for speed....
At the time I
very proudly owned a VW Scirocco GT 2 (not that fast your thinking) and yes your
right it wasn’t that fast...
The first stages of modifying were needed... an exhaust
system and a performance filter...
The only trouble being nobody made an exhaust system
for a scirocco... with time on my hands after being laid off from a panel beating
and spraying job.. I set about looking at what exhaust systems consisted of..
I hired
a small starter unit at Normanby Park Workshops in Scunthorpe, ordered some stainless
sheet and tubing and started cutting and fabricating
to mould my first exhaust system......
REBEL POWERPIPES WAS BORN....!
A small advert was then placed in the local paper.. this set the ball rolling.. . It hasn’t stopped since...
